On a recent trip up the coast, the weather didn’t seem to want to cooperate. It’s as though the multiple days of wind and fog were telling me to head back to the desert. Then, around Trinidad, California, the weather turned; stunning beauty everywhere I looked. This painting is the result of one of those perfect afternoons.
