During our many trips through the Sonoran desert, my wife, Lorene, and I have camped many times in the open desert just south of Quartzsite, Arizona. Looking west toward the Dome Rock Mountains, this particular evening gifted us a spectacular sunset, which became a special memory to capture in paint.
