Morning Star Pipe Carriers

18 x 24 in.
21 x 27 in. (framed)
Most of the Northern Indigenous nations used the Morning Star symbol. Each of its four directions had a meaning, a song, and a bird or animal protector. In this painting, the lead Chiefs of all related bands carry ceremonial pipes and paraphernalia to offer at a sacred place on Mother Earth land.
