Late September of 2021 was an unusual time for us as we were evacuated from our house near Sequoia Park because of a large fire threat. Lucky for us, we were able to stay about seven miles away at a local campground on the banks of the Kaweah River. We had the place to ourselves and were able to enjoy many beautiful moments such as the one in this painting.
