Sunrise in the Grand Tetons is a great time to watch for wildlife, but I have seen a beaver in the middle of the day walk between two of us standing twelve feet apart, harvest a branch from a fallen tree, and drag it back to the water. Most of the animals aren’t as bold as the beaver—and we wouldn't want to be that close to them, anyway.
