Swans are dedicated to each other throughout their lifetime. The pair in Against the Wind are fighting to move forward despite the headwinds of life in front of them. I wanted to show the pair in tandem, working together as one for a common goal. From a distance, I want the viewer to see just one wing span to represent the tightness, bond, and unity of a couple. Look for this sculpture to become a garden-size piece in 2023.
