Few places embody the intersection of colonial and Native spiritual practices more distinctly than the Taos Valley. Two Mountains shows the iconic Roman Catholic cross found in the chapel courtyard at Taos Pueblo in contrast with the imposing peaks from which Tewa natives derive their origin story and accompanying mythology.
