Some of my favorite memories are of camping and painting trips in the desert. It’s the simplicity—painting throughout the day, hanging out by the campfire after dark (unless there’s a full moon, then we’re still painting), and good sleep. Sometimes I’ll do solo trips—the desert reveals itself differently when you’re alone.
