Cloud Rider at Ghost Ranch

I experienced this simple scene during one of my horseback-riding trips to Ghost Ranch. I found myself intrigued by the shapes of the cloud and sunlit mesa and seeing how they related visually to one another. I often study the landscape and clouds in this place and am interested in this relationship between earth and sky. I believe it was the sense of “aliveness” in this changing viewscape that caught my eye.
