In the afterglow of the setting African sun, lions are waking up to go hunting after a lazy day in the shade of an acacia tree. But as with most animals in the wild, the motive behind their behavior can only be assumed. It’s up to the viewer’s interpretation. The title was borrowed from my late friend and hero, painter Bob Kuhn.
