I’ve always been in wonder and awe of Ma Nature’s migrations. How do the animals know when to travel and which path to take? How do they navigate on this journey? I think it is amazing that an animal can come and go, sometimes over thousands of miles in the summer and winter seasons, to the same location of its birth. I sculpted Migration to show that when the seasonal movements start, the animals travel through all kinds of weather, above and below the clouds. They travel through the day and through the night to reach their final destination. The patina fades from light to dark to represent the transition from daylight to darkness.
