This scene is from my visit to Trail Town in Cody, Wyoming. It’s a rich space of history and gives the viewer a sense of what a small settlers' town was like during this time. The wagon parts and earth-colored, dark grey buildings provide a deep, unsettling understanding of what it was like to survive in the West.
